Overview: At A+E, a leading media and entertainment company, I was entrusted with a dynamic role as a UI / UX Designer. My primary focus was Hive+, the redesign of the company’s internal employee portal. The goal was to align the platform with A+E’s brand identity, enhance usability, support internal stakeholders, and create a more engaging, personalized branded theme and an intuitive user experience. To kick off the design process, I began by immersing myself in the existing portal from a user’s perspective. I conducted thorough research, analyzing key elements such as functionality, information architecture, labeling conventions, layout structures, and overall
visual design.

I referenced the site map and worked with live wireframes to gain a hands-on understanding of the system and explore new layout possibilities. To ensure a user-centered approach, I gathered feedback directly from employees to better understand their needs and preferences for the updated platform.

Using this insight, I developed detailed wireframes for all key screens and ultimately produced high-fidelity mockups, bringing the redesigned Hive+ portal to life.
